Homeschool Book

Really good books for teenage girls? Please help! I need a good book for school and home reading. Anyone?

asked:

I LOVE to read, but can never find a good book to to pick up unless suggested by someone else. I really liked the Host by stephanie meyer, the uglies series, the last song, the hunger games series, the vampire diaries, and the great and terrible beauty books. I can handle mild swearing, but hate when they use the f-bomb. Also, i'm not into graphic sex scenes. I prefer longer books, especially series, but would be ok with shorter books too. PLEASE HELP!!!!! Thanks :)
I've read twilight too, and don't really feel like anymore vampire books, but are the vampire academy books good?

Also, I require books to have romance

Ok, now that's really all!

    Hey

I work at a book store, and I work in the teen and young readers section of my store. You can look them up on chapter.indigo.ca or at the authors main pages, or a wikipeadia.

From what I have Read and from what young ladies have told me , the best book from young girls are:

Hunger Games By Susan Collins; because the main character is female, has a strong personality, that believes in herself. She is a good role model for girls because she believe in herself, wants the best for her family, and takes action. The book is well written and has a strong plot. I read the book all in one evening, it pulled me through, I couldn’t stop.

Sliver By Maggie Stiefvater: A very good love story between two people. What i like about it is it gives you both points of view from the main female and main male characters, so you can see both sides of the story. Yes it does have a werewolf side to it, but because it’s not the main focus, more as a point and a struggle that the characters have to go through.so that they can be in love. The book ends in a way that you have to go out and read the second book. There is a second book, to it called Linger.

I hope that helps, if you want more idea’s feel free to email me at

    Cheers

Holy crap, we both love the same books ;) I loveeee all those books you mentioned HAHA and these books are reaalllyyyy good too. :)

    - Evermore series, by Alyson Noel.
There’s three books in the series, ‘Evermore’, ‘Blue Moon’, and ‘Shadowland’. But I think there’s gonna be another few. ;)

    - Gone series, by Michael Grant.
This one, I SWEAR, it’s a great great greaaaaat book. For now there’s ‘Gone’, ‘Hunger’, and ‘Lies’.

    - Blue Bloods series, by Melissa de la Cruz.
A series of currently five books; Blue Bloods, Masquerade, Revelations, The Van Alen Legacy, and Misguided Angel. It’s really addicting seriously.

    - Beautiful Creatures, by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl.
This is one of my all-time favorite series, and that’s saying a lot. ;) There’s a sequel to it, Beautiful Darkness. (L)

    - Wicked Lovely series, by Melissa Marr.
There’s Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange, Fragile Eternity, Radiant Shadows and soon-to-be Darkest Mercy. This series is bliss :’)

Well if that ain’t enough (it probably isn’t), you could try some of these,
    - Shopaholics series, by Sophie Kinsella
    - Sarah Dessen books
    - Dear John by Nicholas Sparks, my favorite :)
    - Anything by Nicholas Sparks, really. HAHAH.

    Also, try ;)

    xxx
